A roll over valve (also called a rollover valve or ROV) is a simple but critical safety device in a vehicle’s fuel system. Its sole job is to prevent fuel from leaking out of the tank vent lines if the vehicle flips onto its roof or side.

- Air enters as fuel is consumed
